Jackson's Second Annual Cornhole Tournament

Jackson's cornhole tournament was set up to raise awareness and money for research of Phelan-McDermid Syndrome. All money raised is donated to the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation to assist with research iniatives and help families afford to attend the 2012 biennial conference in Orlando, FL. Our event will include a bake sale, concessions, drawing prizes, silent auctions and of course cornhole. We hope to see you there!

What is Phelan-McDermid Syndrome?

Phelan-McDermid Syndrome (PMS), also known as 22q13 Deletion Syndrome, is a genetic disorder caused by the loss of genes at the tip of the 22nd chromosome. A lack of the Shank3/ProSAP2 gene is suspected as the primary cause of the symptoms associated with this syndrome.
